Default MAZDA MIATA with hardtop - MUST SELL - $1200 (LaGrange)

Craigslist, no affiliation. Car looks decent in pics and the hardtop makes the price great.

1992 Mazda Miata. An automatic with 112,000 miles on it. New rear tires and power steering pump. Comes with hardtop. Mechanically great. I hate to sell it but I need money for school. The car is worth more but I really just need a quick sale. Please call text or email if you would like to come see it. Thanks for looking.

Dude we would have been racing each other there!

I know, I know, I'm at the back of the line when it comes to "awesome Miata deals on Atlanta Craigslist".

No kidding, it's my turn again! Mr. "Blown Engine" NB that needed nothing but sparkplugs and cleaning.

Damn mgeoffriau, you are the deal finder (I bought a hard top you posted on here once). Man I wish that was closer to me. Hope someone from here gets it.

Called about it. Sounds legit, trying to go look at it tonight or tomorrow.

Got to convince the wife it's a good enough deal. And that buying three cars in one week is normal.....

Nice, good luck! I figure I'm looking for good deals anyway, so if I can't benefit, I might as well pass it along to someone who can.

I'm going to see it tonight at 6:30pm EST. If it's in decent enough shape (esp. the hardtop) it will be coming home with me.

I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

Wow... Wish it were closer to me or this would be bought instantly. Good luck and hopefully it looks good when you go to check it out.

I have a manual tranny and pedals, etc. from a wrecked 99 if you want to convert it to a 5-speed for better resale.

Well it seems someone else got to it before me. Haven't heard for sure yet, but the chick flaked on me and I didn't see it. She kind of screwed me because I told her I wanted to see it as soon as possible so she said 6:30pm today, and then she had someone else over looking at it at 4pm. I'm pretty sure I was the first to call her and set up a time, oh well...

Thats fairly normal with CL dipfucks. It actually unusual if someone doesnt revert to the 'another guy offered more for it' unofficial auction crap or lets the 14th caller get there first.

yea it's about the same as people in nc triangle area posting there original 1st gen hardtops for 1600-1800 bucks. then i have to go on there and repost to regulate dem fools, saying that average selling price for original condition is at least <1000.00, usually much lower than that.

then i get bombarded with e-mails from retard miata owners asking, "where do you go to purchase one of these brand new HT's for 1000-1200 bucks????!!!"

idiots. let's just say i'm proud to be a member of a non-stupid forum.

I use CL to sell every now and again... However, I have never under-cut anyone if they voiced interest in an item first. Some people are just jackasses though...

I HATE that crap. i wont bore with too many details, but last fall i got into a "bidding war" over a barely running, rusty, 1990 4wd protege. i made an offer, the guy kept shitting on my offer because he claimed he already had a deposit from someone willing to pay full asking price. in that case... why is he even talking to me? i gave up
he eventually called me back and we struck a deal, all the while he whined about how he was going to have to refund "the other guy's" deposit.

I was afraid of this happening, that's why I wanted to go and see it as soon as possible. Oh well, I always miss out on the good deals so nothing new...
