5th, had to slow down too soon on this log but it still makes 12.5psi by 2800rpm. I took a good log on my phone with msdroid but can't figure out how to do a PrtSc on the thing.

12.5psi at 2800rpm on an NB

Here is another pull in 4th, I have a 5 speed with 4.3 in the rear, all stock. Still playing with the ebc settings a bunch, I would like to try to keep it at 12psi from 2800 to redline.
It's a good sign boost is dropping up top, tuning the initial overshoot out of EBC is the hardest part, for sure. I don't think you'll have much of a problem getting that nice and flat with more tuning.
that's the dyno I was expecting to see here.
finally.
you might want to ease your boost onset off a little...you are quickly approaching rod bending territory.
I bet it feels nice.

im waiting on my local car club to get together for a dyno day. IDk if it doesnt happen soon im just gonna take it up there myself. the torque onset is intense. a pull in 2nd can waste the nt05s in 98 degree heat. I agree with brain I do need to slow down the onset. I tuned the spark map with detcans at this boost curve and went back to back pull after pull soaking the engine with heat in dry 98 degree ambient heat with pretty high iats and keep addin/removing timing until I didnt get any resonance from the block. attached is the map i ended up with
She is ready for the dyno. Looks like our car club is going next month.
Look at that boost curve. So Much better. I am surprised how much I have grown fond of this damn turbo kit. Car is super modest around town very sleeper and quiet. Very streetable up to around 30% tps. After that the car opens a giant can of whoop *** and scares the **** outta me. I got on it in 3rd around the apex and had to let out cause the tires cant take it. I really like the spool characteristics because pretty much every downshift the turbo is ready to kick into action. below is another 4th gear pull. I worked a little more on CL Boost and got it right where I want it. Again like the last pull I didnt wrap it out to redline(too many deer and cops, not enough road)

Hopefully very soon I should be getting a setup on my built motor. I want to turn up the boost to 20-25psi and see what the turbo does.
Im definitely not gonna really get on it till after the dyno. I want to run it around 240ftlbs to be "safe"

Now that people there are some independent reviews and decent virtual dynos of my setup. Who is ready for group buy number 2? Price will be going up a little bit, but I have some small changes coming. The biggest will be the availability of 1.6 setups and hopefully mid pipes being bent to my exact specs as a single piece.
I have a buddy who also has a house on the lake who just bought a NB1. He will be interested in talking to you about this at the event.
Will you or one of your buyers have one at the event for a demonstration ride and a show and tell?

I am planning on having miata running a MKTurbo setup at the lake house party. Not sure yet if it will be a NB, or an NA. I got 15 days to get one built, and tuned before then.
Pssh! Easy.
This guy is buying his in-laws 40k mile NB for his wife to drive/track. He sold his first and second businesses for millions and retired at age 38. He did some consulting work (because bored) but got elected as county commissioner last year (because bored). He races a NASCAR style road race car with SARRC and his wife tracked a Boss 302 Laguna Seca for a bit in HPDE with NASA. He thinks she will want more power out of the NB. I said, "Ya think?"
