Im not scared to buy from someone. But like i said before i got fucked before from someone on miata.net. Reider has 2 feedbacks and a hundred or so odd posts. Not as if he has tons of feedback like you and some crazy amount of posts. If a forum member has something for sale i would like to help them out since i need it anyway, rather than go to a retailer in the first place. All i was asking was if paypal was an option. Its always better to be careful thats all i was saying. Id say most people on miata.net and here are upstanding good people. I like to consider myself as such caliber aswell. Redrider pm me with contact info/bank account number and we can handle this. Also you said it comes with no fittings. Specifcally what fittings would i need? im guessing for the coolant/oil lines?? Thanks, i really need a turbo. Sorry not trying to be a pain, i just work hard for my money and dont want to see it get wasted thats all.

Sure, I will take paypal. You will need oil and coolant lines and fittings. You should also get a oil feed restrictor to reduce the oil pressure reaching the bearings/seals. If you don't use a restrictor you will have oil leaking past the seals and other issues. The turbo comes just as it does from a retailer, just the bare turbo with a waste gate.

Restrictor - http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant...egory_Code=GRT
Coolant banjo fittings - http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant...egory_Code=GRT
Oil return flange - http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant...egory_Code=GRT or http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant...egory_Code=GRT

I will PM you my paypal id.

I will need 2 coolant flanges correct? One in and one out I assume. And obviously one oil restrictor fitting and one for the drain correct? I should be able to get my friend to paypal you the money tomorrow. When you ship it could you make sure that i dont need to sign for it. Chances are i wont be around to sign for it. Any shipping service will do but a tracking number would be great aswell. Once i get that money sent to you I will forward you contact information. thanks.

Sorry couldnt pm this to you without having 15 posts. If you would pm me your email so that i may send you my contact info that would be great. thanks again

Yes, you will need two of the banjo kits. Just make sure you get the correct lines for oil and coolant. From you previous posts it sonded like you have some sort of kit already, don't you have oil and water lines with them?

Yea I purchased an older fmII link kit from a forum member. He provided an oil feed. Other than that i need a return and coolant lines. Ive been in contact with Fm about getting pieces that did not come with the kit. Currently i still need the turbo hardware, 02 signal modifier, oil return and coolant lines, and a few fittings. It was a pretty complete kit but the po kept some parts as he was keeping his miata(ie no turbo), just running a new Hydra setup. Im going to order all said pieces from FM including a wide band and an exhaust maybe(still havnt decided a route to go yet), any suggestion? I want to keep her quiet as can be.

I have no idea about exhausts. I was thinking about getting ARTech to fabricate me a nice 3" setup. Here is a link to his thread: https://www.miataturbo.net/artech-fabrication-miata-accessories-79/custom-exhaust-48225/
I think it would be a better investment than getting a FM unit.

Don't have a picture of the turbo. It looks like a new GT2560.

That really helps...because it could have the stupid bolt-up compressor inlet and outlets or the slip-on inlet/outlet compressor housing. Doesn't matter at this point though.

Regardless, the turbo can be made to work. If either the compressor or inlet are flanged, you need to buy the adapter(s).

This could potentially add another 50-60 dollars toward the installation price, though. So, it's something worth inquiring about before pulling the trigger.

If you're putting together your own kit, a little less of a hassle. For me, I have the FM intercooler pipes and inlet pipe...meaning I'd have to change out the compressor housing. I prefer the cleaner look of the slip-on inlet/outlet..and it's one less thing to deal with.

It has the flanged inlet and outlet on the compressor housing.
