Fixed Mr. Hyde's order for him using my PC master race Logitech G413 Carbon keyboard.

 

Typing from the same keyboard, currently back lit to 0, 15, 180.

I have stuff on the way, may have some hubs ready for the first few on the list in the next week.

 

Off topic from hubs ... the G413 has only one color, red, the color of the gods and the only color that should ever appear as a backlight in the dimly lit techno-man cave of the true geek. My keyboard has it, my mouse has it, and my monitor even casts a nice red glow aboot me desk. Now, I must say that none of these items were purchased specifically for their ability to glow in this or any other color. I used an unlit, unlettered Das Keyboard original v1 for 17 years. These items simply happen to have lighting capabilities. The monitor and mouse are RGB, but red is the best color. Which brings me to your statement that you have your keyboard set to (blah, blah, blah). The g413 Carbon has only one color, red, the proper color. And it doesn't show up in my Logitech Gaming software framework as a device to be configured.

So, have you in fact a different keyboard, or have you in fact unlocked hidden possibilities in the G413 Carbon? If it is not only red, enquiring minds want to know!

2nd Serious question. On the broken hub thread there was much debate about the knurl size of ARP studs vs the studs that come in hubs, or more specifically the hole diameter that receives the ARP studs.

Is this an issue? How has it been evaluated and addressed?

I just bought some new rear hubs. The knurls on the removed studs are 14.45mm on the peaks, approximately 14.25 before knurling. The ARP's are 14.75 peak, and 14.50 before knurling.

EDIT: looks like a different ARP Stud with no rounded end.

Making hubs isn't new to me. I have been pressing studs in holes they don't belong in for years , before I even had a miata. I am quite familiar with the tolerances involved and the envelopes I can push.

I'm not just blindly forcing random studs into random holes, it was all evaluated, and even discussed in the originating hub thread.
