Are the ARP studs being used oem length or longer? Is there a length difference between the standard studs and the ARP studs being used? Read both threads and didn't see this mentioned.

It was discussed in the other thread here, but I should have mentioned it in this thread, ill update the OP.

Stock miata and MR2 length is 40mm/1.575". The studs we will be using are the ARP 100-7715 for an IS300 and are 66mm/2.600". Lengths are under-head. So about 1" longer. I have some coming in soon, ill get pics up when I get a set done.

 

Awesome, thanks for the info! Are the non-ARP standard stud option oem length or the same longer is300 studs?

 

If you don't option on ARP studs, you will get the "OEM" studs that the hubs shipped with from Rockauto/amazon/etc. So standard length, class 10.9 (typically, although sometimes 12.9, both of which are completely sufficient for anything we will put them through).

Also, in this thread, I saw a question asking about 1.6 fitment and then one of the more recent post in the referenced thread, someone mentions needing to machine the outer hub o.d. down. Is that a possible option?

 

Time frame depends where you are in the list.

Machining the OD is already part of the process.

Well have to play with shipping, as the weight limit to AUS is laughably low for flat rate boxes. But not a problem, just keep them all on one line in the list and Ill deal with it when we get to you guys.
