Any word on the 1.6 coil brackets. Haven't heard back in a while.

Well ****... I guess I'll plan for 2020. I put my name on the list in Feb this year for the Bronze/Delrin kit and I'm now, about to wrap up a deployment with no further response since then. Still have cash set aside ready to go.

Don't preach "patience" if the dude has been waiting since October. Get out of here with that noise. People are literally lined up to throw money his way and can't manage a simple email response of: "life happens/issues occurring, check back in a couple of weeks. I still want your business, I haven't forgotten about you... ect".

I hope the dwelling purchase goes well, but throw the customers a bone once in awhile. Its just common courtesy... I think

I kinda agree with you, mr mazda329, the wait time is super crazy. Originally I was quoted 2+ months (i guess emphasis on the "+"). The only other time I was able to get a response from sadfab was January 13th from an email I sent December 17th. I have since been emailing Sean for the past month and a half with no reply. I get life happens. I get if he is a one man show and there is a huge backlog. But if you can't get the orders out, stop putting people on a wait list. If you are not making the item anymore just advertise that the item will not be available for the foreseeable future.

As for me I will continue waiting patiently, cause frankly I don't care to much as my miata is just a hobby for me to continually tinker with. I will continue having money at the ready for when/if my order is made. I just think an update would be nice.

Running a bit of interference here,
Is anyone still waiting for, or wanting 1.6 brackets?

I only did a very small test run of the 1.6. Just wasn't sure of the market. I will be having more produced in the next month or so. Because of the limited production, they do cost a little more. Fyi

Ok, let me know please. First contacted sadfab in March 2019. Many emails sent. Sean got back end of April, said one more week, then again in May, one more week. I kept checking but no response. That's why I replied to this post. Just kinda hanging.

What's the cost?

I build all of my parts in the US. It's not cheap and not fast. I did a very limited run to test waters, as I said before. You may have not made it, unfortunately. Again, the 1.6 was a fest run. I dont like to do big runs on parts if fitment is not 100. Everyone thinks they want to buy prototype parts, until they dont fit properly. Then they want me to refund the purchase.

I will get another batch going.

they wont be much more than the 1.8., 15 or 20 bucks. Extra cost cost is from very small order numbers. 20 vs 200

Not to bring back a 1+ year old thread but searching couldn’t bring up a more recent one. Just was curious if you were able to find another vendor to cut and bend coil brackets? Looking to buy one for a 1.8.
Thanks

I've been on the wait list since Nov 2019, getting spotty replies from the guys on the bronze retrofit kit as well. Desperate as well!
Need to install bushings but refuse to do it without their kit!
