Here is a silly question: What is the difference between the * and Y on the chart?

Thanks for making this a sticky, makes it easier to figure out what's in my ECU

* means possible, modifications may be required.

What hi/low levels do you want to use?

There's a VERY simple hi/low solution that doesn't require anything from the ECU.

Question my masculinity all you like, but I'd prefer to have something like 2-3 settings to choose from. I'd like to be able to throw the keys at people and have a reasonable expectation that when the car is returned, there is still rubber on the rear tires and the bodywork still resembles a Miata.

correct. if you don't want to run gate, you can still run a MBC as low.

For some reason I just imagined your car's interior looking more like the inside of an A380 cockpit...

That is a standard MegaSquirt-2 and does not look like a Reverant built unit, it does not even have the Miata connectors...

i was told he has the connector adapter for it.. But that sucks if it's not a ms3 and not a reverant ecu

Or search...

Here's the thread where @thirdgen sold his MS3 for an NB1. Pics are there for you to compare: 99-00 MS3 PNP (custom in stock case). Maybe he sold another . The guy seems to be trying to scam you IMO.

@Reverant can comment if he wants to.

And $1500!!!

I already found the thread and contacted thirdgen... Also it's 1500 for a brand new mk turbo kit plus the ecu with a AEM wideband. so it's pretty fair imo. I'm just looking for clarification on the ecu before I drop the dough

Definitely not a unit from us. The guy is either clueless himself or he is trying to scam you.

I can tell you pretty much everything about that unit. Reverant had nothing to do with it. That started out as a MS1 that was running parallel on a 97. Then I put it in my 99 and many modifications were made until it became ms2 standalone. I drove my car for like 4 years with this ms, then I upgraded to MS3.
