Angry MSPNP Fried?

Last night driving home from work, I was autotuning with my MSPNP Gen 1 and my car (92 Turbo listed in my signature) just randomly shut off. I immediately pulled out my laptop and tunerstudios wouldn't connect. so I tried Megatune only to get the following error message:

Controller code version does not match signature in MsnS-extra.ini.

(See audit.log for where the above file was found.)

Expected “MsnS-extra format 029q *********” (found in ini file)
received “” (from controller)

Table corruption may occur, this is usually a very serious problem.

The red lights in the case no longer light up and the car will not start back up. Did my MSPNP fry itself? :( I have not pulled the case off for fear of voiding any possible warranty i might have.

just got an email back from Matt at DIY and he said to try jumping the 2 "Boot" pins and reloading the firmware as if I were upgrading from standard code. I'm going to try this after work. One thing I will say, even if this doesn't work, DIY has been great about getting back to me in a reasonable amount of time. first email took less than 24 hours, second email was less than 3... very impressed with the customer service so far.
