Vtps installed with issues?
Alright I installed the vtps as per the instructions diyautotune. Remove resistor R6, R7 and wired the two jumpers. Checked and I do have 5v at the sensor but when I go to calibrate tps on megatune the numbers at closed throttle and open throttle are the same.
1. Is there a setting within megatune that needs to be changed for vtps
2. When trying to capture the reading in the cal screen while running, I'll get 57 at closed and 56 at full throttle and these numbers will rise and fall by 10 points or so. When not running the number for open and closed throttle are the same.
If any one can help that would be grrrrreat!

I think your suppose to calibrate while the car is not running. But regardless I had a similar experience. Their are lots of suggested solutions, but the one I used was using three sets of alligator clips and change the wires until I received the proper response. You might want to give that method a shot. So switch the clips, noting where they were previously, and then calibrate. Eventually you should have the right wires, and at that point just solder everything in place.

Alright I unwired the vtps and checked the ohmic reading on the sensor. At closed I got 638 ohms and at wot I got 3.87k ohms and is linear. Now at the megatuner I get no change on the calibrate tps tab.
Also tried alligator clips with the sensor to allow for multiple combinations of hookups. Went thru all combinations but no change within megatuner.
Also checked the voltages at the tps and I have 5 vdc
My next step is to check the solder connections to see if I have a possible cold solder. Anyone know which connection is the signal back from tps?

Well I re burned the solders and I still am in the same spot no change at megatuner. Going to have to check ecu wiring next.
I seen something Brain came up with a boomslang harness.? And he talks about changing the setup at the ecu. Any idea if that will help.

Alright second time thru the wiring and reburning the solders, even went with a larger gauge wire for the jumpers and still I have voltage at the tps and changes when the throttle position moves but nothing at the cal screen on megatuner. I ran through hand fulls of threads on this but none seem to be fixed or never posted on what was the final fix. Now i stumbled across Brains boomslang setup for the harness and wondered if this may resolve my issue.

Issue resolved
When removing the r6 resistor I pull the wire strip which was on the board so that it no longer made connection thru the board with the other side so I skipped the board wiring all together and went directly to the main points on the board.
Calibrated and up and running
