Default 99 10 AE Mazdaspeed Turbo Kit Complete. NEW PICS! Dyno results to be posted soon!

Well this wraps up my Mazdaspeed Turbo Kit and Front end installation. All is left is to install the coolant bypass and engine management, but I have driving the car half a mile and I am very pleased with the result. No change in drivability, a very quiet exhaust, and a pleasant turbo whistle.

Straight up niceness!!! I think the MSM stock stuff is the ultimate cheapass way to reliably turbo any na or nb.

really, stealin' my idea was a dick move *
my ****'s got a TDR splitter though. i'm also planning on using the foglamp openings for brake ducts instead of fogs.

*on that end, did you have to do anything with the front splash gaurds to make the bumper fit?

Did you use the stock MSM rubber throttle body elbow? If so, be prepared for it to blow off under boost. That's why most MSM owners replace it with a solid part from FM or BEGI.

How about 5000 people running the Mazdaspeed Miata. Same front end, same air damn, same **** pretty much. No gripe about that haha

There was an MSM color called "Pearl White" in Japan.

Pearl White huh? I think they had an FD RX-7 R2 whatever it is in that color. It was one of their speciality race ready RX-7's.

And yes, I am going to have to get a TDR air splitter for mine as well. I had a buddy who had one on his 99' and it works wonders for protecting the paint. If you scrub, big deal and no freaking curb rash on the shiny blue paint...

dude, you need a better intake - give it 6 months and you will see the light >:3

7-8PSI and spool @ 3700rpm is just not enough.

But with teh megasquirts you should be able to have a much cleaner tune than us suckers stuck with the stock MSM ecu.

Besides, I think the polished aluminum and chrome always goes well with the 10th AE, second happen to look at what i'm running. Brand new Falken RT-615's in 205/50/15

Not really, when you consider that the NB 99-2000 headlights have to be replaced with 01-05 units in order to access the driver side cutout that the charge pipe goes down into...

But asides that point, what I do know is this. Using the 99-2000 stock downpipe allows for the turbomanifold, turbo, and outlet to bolt right up to the midpipe. You could do a non-intercooled MSM setup for 600 dollars. Would be good
