Is your clutch pedal adjusted?

My act xt wouldnt even go into gear right when i installed it because of the pedal adjustment.

Yeah I had to adjust it right off the bat. I don't know if I can adjust it anymore though cuz I'm afraid that it would be preloading the clutch, is there a way to tell?

The low engagement point is a good thing in a way. Now my dad refuses to drive it

That seems to contradict this:

Going over 5k in 1st gear and building boost hardly sounds being uber-careful.

Of course I did a track day after only putting ~350 miles on a new clutch once. Trial by fire I say.

By uber-careful I mean no clutch dumps or hard launches. If it were to ever start slipping I would back off whether it's broken in or not. So far this weekend I've already put 350 miles on it. Tomorrow I'm going to an autocross but I won't be running because it's new.

I added more travel to the clutch throw by removing that blue plastic stopper thingy on the clutch pedal assembly and that has vastly improved the engagement point.

I'm still getting that squealing sound every now and then, mostly when warmed up. Spraying grease only seems to be a temporary fix :(

I made myself a longer slave cylinder rod. Works better than the way it was. I have a used act extreme and it still has a low engagement point.
