Anyone have pics of an MKTurbo intercooler installed on an NB1?
I've been working in the afternoons all week getting my MKTurbo kit installed, and I was wondering if anyone had pics of how they ran the hot side of the intercooler piping as well as how they clocked their turbo for an NB1 install? Lars sent some pics right before everything started shipping, but any extra that someone might be able to provide would be greatly appreciated!

I'll take some pics when I get home after work. I was just test fitting the turbo while I was at lunch along with the A pipe for the intercooler and I was having some contact between the hood and said pipe. I still had the lift hook attached to the front of the head, so I took that off and rotated the turbo to point more at the head which is how I think I'm seeing it in the pics you sent. Does that silicone joiner need to be trimmed to help minimize the height of the piping coming off the turbo?
I'm relatively confident that Lars used a different routing for the nb2.

Yeah you will most likely need to trim the coupler coming off the turbo shorter a bit. Use a sharp razor blade and cut a little shorter, test fit, and trim some more if needed.

Well, I've been working non-stop for the last two days to get the kit installed. I'll post pics of the intercooler routing for posterity tomorrow afternoon after work. Took it out for the first drive about two hours ago, and wow! It's quite a kick in the pants when the turbo starts to spool.

I've been meaning to get back to this thread, but I've been having too much fun driving the car and haven't even thought about taking pics in a while. However, I currently have the turbo off chasing down an oil feed leak and I'll be putting everything back together tomorrow after work, so I can get pics of just about anything you want. With that said, the line for the BOV is plumbed to the vacuum port on top of the throttle body right behind the butterfly. The wastegate actuator is plumbed to a fitting in the intercooler charge piping. My vacuum signal for my MS3 is sourced from the back of the intake manifold. It might not be the best place since that spot is also shared with the cruise control, but I haven't had any problems with it (and the cruise still works, too). I have the AEM 30-0300 wideband which has CAN output, so I wired that into the options connector on the back of the MS3.
