Begi AFPR with 350cc Injectors
Background: 1992 miata, 1.6L, greddy turbo kit, 7-8 psi, other add-ons.
I got my car tuned and was told i was too lean so they installed 350cc injectors (already had a walbro 190 installed) , my car is now too rich, but runs better. recently my car started to bogged and blow black smoke a lot worse. I changed spark plugs, wires, no help. When i had it tuned they stated my begi afpr was sticking open.
After talking to tech support at begi about rebuilding it, they said i don't even need their fpr. Not that I'm questioning the brilliant minds at begi, what does everyone else think about that?

at that boost level you could probably take the afpr out. with that pump you can make about 100psi fuel pressure and that makes your 350cc injectors 530cc injectors. you can make a good fuel map on an e manage and the 350cc injectors should support your greddy kit
cool, so the afpr is coming out. I'll let y'all know how it reacts. I'm hoping since the car was running rich at all times with the afpr, it makes sense it will be slightly leaner now so it may be a better overall experience.
