Default cx racing down pipe

Are the cx racing down pipes any use?

http://www.cxracing.com/mm5/merchant...gory_Code=DPMA

Anyone using them?

I want to upgrade my greddy pipe, the begi one seems quite pricey especially as i have to ship to ireland.

Looks like the Megan Racing mani and DP I had when I got my car. I upgraded to a cast t3 manifold so I cut off the flange on the dp and welded a 90 and v-band to it

thought as much, just wanted to check.

For me postage is the killer and the euro dollar exchange rate is not great either.

With postage and possible tax at 21% it makes the begi DP very expensive.

Guess i may be living with my asthmatic greddy DP for a while longer.

Found this one in the UK, but it looks a bit home made and has no flexi pipe.

Hey, so i dont know if you saw my post "first turbo miata, pictures n' stuff" but i used the CXracing intercooler, piping, turbo, and downpipe, but i used the flyin miata manifold. the downpipe was a PITA, sorta.. first off, it didnt have that wastegate opening, so i had to get it cut and flared out, and i had a extra bung welded on for a wideband.. the to make it fit, i had it cut twice, and added a 90 degree, I had it cut on the first weld, and the bend right after the flange, and turned it 180 degrees so the bend pointed upwards, then i added a 90 degree where it was cut right after the flange, and it fit alright with some cursing and a bunch of duct tape to last to a welding shop i hope this helps, and hope it made sence... this is assuming your using a log manifold. good luck.

Thanks all, the artech DP seems like much better value than the begi, think i'll start looking into it next week.

Couldn't be bothered trying to modify the cx racing one only to wonder when the welds will crack.

Here is my build so far, thanks to joe perez for the IC write up, helped a lot.

Still on a band aid setup with bipes, 265cc injectors, 2.5" stainless 2.5" d'cat pipe and o2 clamp, next step is DP, MSPNP, WBO2 and 1.8 diff conversion.
