Has anyone tried these cast iron ebay headers? They look at least a bit more durable than the others. Then again I suppose a header that lasts 2 weeks is about the same as one that cracks after one week. |
Guys, why are we spoonfeeding this guy in this thread?

I should get on Ohio Miata Owners and see if there is someone in Cincinnati who has a turbo mx5 who will let me ride with them and answer some of my questions . |

Everyone learns somewhere, if I had not asked questions I would have probably already ordered a ebay turbo kit. My first thread here would have been "How to install an eBay FPR in my 02 miata"

The Ohio Miata owners group is actually pretty solid.

I can vouch for Ohio ECU Solutions. I messed up building my diypnp ms and they got it running for me and installed a base tune. I haven't tested full functionality as the car dies right after it starts but that's most likely a base tune issue.

Thanks, I really need to search before I post questions that have already been discussed to great length.
I'm still a huge noob, but you'll get far better answers if you can prove that you've actually bothered to read something before posting. Include citations for threads that you've read if you have questions. I'm not kidding. For reference, this was my noob thread: https://www.miataturbo.net/general-m...u-think-90818/ If you keep all the questions in one place where people can chime in when they're bored or feeling nice/generous it might help you out. But you have to read first. I'm getting flak right now because I'm being an idiot in my build thread. I deserve to an extent, but I appreciate the help all the same. |
Nice thread.. Looking for used parts amongst the kits gives a good chuckle.. :)
For the record I'm reminded of someone's comment in response to an ebay question and the probable 'you're a newb, don't buy that non-US garbage' response.. He said, "Where is the Miata made?" |
If there were ebay kits made with typical Japanese quality, we would likely have much more positive reviews...

Must be tax return time...

Pretty poor reading comprehension skills to think it has anything to do with where it's made.

TEKGNOME,
Why are you so focused on using MS3? Why not get an MS2E from Reverent? To be honest, based on your knowledge of turbo miatae, I think it's safe to assume that you'll probably use 15% of the total features of the MS3. |
