Holds idle right at 1k rpms and is very smooth now.
So now it looks like I will be selling the FM IC, IC pipes, and the BOV!
I also pulled the turbo drain line and its draining, so I feel a little better. I'm guessing the smoke and chemical smell is the ceramic coating or my paint? I never noticed my Greddy setup smoking unless it got wet from that damn FM hood.

Now I need to figure out what BOV I'm going to go with I guess...
I just did so much, and now I'm going to have to replace half of it! lol

At first I was like WTF is burning! But then I remembered the stuff I got from Lee was ceramic coated, plus I painted the DP with high temp paint. I was worried that maybe the turbo wasn't getting coolant nor oil and was burning up inside! Thanks again man! 
I have so many thank you's to this forum. To think I did everything without any directions, just what I was taught from you guys. I'm not sure how alot of other forums operate, but I'd say many cannot beat this place.

Nice dude, happy you got that figured out. The bov you have should be fine if you are going MS(and are deleting the afm of course), but for the record i love my type-s. Keep us updated!

Jumped up Jesus on a pogo stick! A couple hours ago you were ready to buy new injectors and a megasquirt, now you want to scrap the entire IC setup because the VTA BOV you are using is causing issues with your MAF.
Reality check. Recirculate the BOV and save yourself a bunch of money. Even if you get a BOV that will seal properly you still have overly rich conditions when you lift.
I'd also really give serious consideration to the size of injector you are using and the amount of boost you will be running. You don't have enough injectors at stock fuel pressure of 9psi on that setup.

Yea right bro, like you don't know your the top thank you...lol. I've read the entire FAQ **** word for word like 5 times. I'm serious when I say, this forum taught me what I'm doing. When I step back and look at what I'm doing, knowing I'm doing everything myself, I really have no ******* idea how I did it. I'm trying to decide on 305's or 440's. I still have reading to do, but I'm alot closer than before. The idle is mint and makes me want to lay down and listen to it. The other day I was under the car doing some cleaning, and I was looking around the engine and suspension, trying to figure out how everything works, and I fell asleep...I was that comfortable on my sleeper.
If there was a way I could not go back to foundation work, I would go to school or take the the tests to get ASE certified to try and make it a living. Not ******* changing tires, or bitch jobs, I've done that ****. Cool **** like full out modding a car. This has turned out to be worth every dollar and minute once the idle calmed down.
I have a couple ideas for some stuff I might do that I haven't read about, but that depends on how pushy I get with driving the car again. Right now the registration is past and the tax on it. Not to mention my DL expired on my birthday. Surgery put me back pretty bad, and then working on the car has kept me working alot. Now the nicer the weather gets, the faster I work to get things done.
Tomorrow I'm going to try and mount the headlight buckets and get everything ready for the IC and exhaust coming Monday. In a perfect world, I'd like to have the car running and painted by no later than June 15th. 80 hours weeks again are going to kill me dead.

Well UPS just came and brought me the exhaust. I'm gonna put this and my LC-1 in this afternoon. I've been working on my dad's 57' T-bird to keep busy until the exhaust came, but now I don't wanna leave his car halfassed, so I'm back to working on the Ford....
Exhaust looks good! I cant wait to put it in and hear how the car sounds!

I said the same to Jason when I saw the pictures of the duals on the group buy thread. He assured me that once on the car they are even.

While I was outside working on the t-bird, fedex came! Now I have another project to work on. This week got fucked for back to work so now I have until next Monday to get **** done.
I originally was only going to put the battery in my dads car cause it has been sitting in front of my tool box for 3 months or so. After uncovering the car it was a mess. So I figured I would clean it up and have it ready to go for when he wants to take it out. The ******* tires have been a bitch. There's chrome everywhere on this car! But I'm almost done, then I'll take it for a drive tonight after I put my exhaust in.

Exhaust is in. It looks like everything lines up pretty even once all pieces are connected and the bolts are tight. Sounds great, from what I can hear. I really haven't gotten too heavy on the revs, not having a BOV hooked up and all. But it idles nice and looks good.
I pulled all the FM IC stuff for the 10th time, but this time was for good. I got to fool around with getting an idea of how I'm going to mount the IC and route the pipes. I made all my measurements and mocked up what I'd like to do. Now I just need to place my order from siliconeintakes.com and find a local powder coating business.
And I got to try my idea for the intake. I checked for clearance and if the angle was right to get a pipe fitted under the headlight. Sure enough, it'll work.
