it totally sounds like vacuum leak, but I had a mystery like this happen to my car and it turned out to be my tps connector had popped off.

prolly no help but, worth a look.

well the car will idle now, no problem there, but when i hit the gas it goes up to about 2000rpm and then gets cut back down, even with my foot on the gas.

Tigten it? Your best bet to eliminate it as a possible source of a vacuum leak is to seal it with duct tape.

Is it vented to atmosphere? If it is, cover the outlet while its running.

tried covering the bov opening with duct tape, still did nothing, at the same time i checked the pcv and covered that with tape and also the one on the other side, both arent leaking. ...... edit- this may sound dumb but do you think the soft cut rev limiter in the emanage might be on? how do i set it?

just a guess check to see your vortech is not backwards
afm plugged in
timing not waaaay off
still there a lot of places vacuum can leak

maybe give us more specifics on your setup

FMU is correct, assuming the "red" line is going to the OEM FPR.

Seems like something to do with the AFM or EMB baes on the video.

do you think one of you could make me an 8psi map? maybe the one im using is bunk. heres my set up- 305cc green top injectors, 255lph hi pressure pump, **** IC, Tony DP.

may have way too much fuel with those injectors and the 255 pump
