I see that this guy is likely already hidden away in a closet with the lights off crying to himself holding himself shaking back and fourth, but here's an idea!

Go find yourself a Mazdaspeed miata turbo exhaust manifold/turbo for real cheap with the outlet. get an exhaust shop to do a down pipe for like 200 ish, and ebay intake kit.

Ok, now your ready to blow your motor, go find an afpr and some bandaids until you can afford a DIY ms. The manifold/turbo's come up because all of us seem to be going FMII right now, so gl. You can't have mine, though. Needs for research.

 

My budget was $2500 and that was a hard goal to hit, but that was including $400 for a valve job and a diy ring and hone of the bottom end beforehand.

My emb was used for $160 but I had to spend close to $80 on new harnesses, another $60 on the support tool and cable, then $190 for the LC1 wideband.

I don't see it happening for $800 unless someone is desperate for cash. $2k is a doable amount though, keep saving!!

Do it right way or dont do it at all!!takes more time,money if you turbo your car even u buy a bolt on like ebay or g-ready hehe, it doest stop there youll keep adding and adding,changing,upgrading just buy a good kit plan it,what your hp goal,where u using it,mostt of mt member been there and most of them know what works and whats not.saved money plan it right.youll thank mt memeber later,guarantee.

 

dont have tools , well u got gasoline & match ,mind as well save the headache, stay n/a youll enjoy it more.buy one by one start with basic tools they have it in sears for under $200,youll save in long run by keep goin to a shop.honestly do re search,if u planning to keep your miata u need mt.net too,so be nice to the member dont **** them off,treat them like your teacher trust me they know what they talkin about ( for most of them).be polite,dont ask hit n run question,ask like u talkin to your buddy,save u time later ,good luck.been there done that.
