400 setup should be achievable with 14 psi no problemo. You're right on the cast manifold though, they are crap. They radiate tons of heat, they are heavy and they suck your power dry. I hit 350 whp just from switching from cast to tube. It's the only way to go. You might want to look up gauges for the setup too though. I saw some one made a whp gauge too thats very accurate.

Yeah sadly if you try to convert it it gets mixed up and it doesnt work properly
The whp gauges i've seen are sweet. More accurate than a dyno at times since elevation doesnt affect them..likewise with ambient temp. At last they come in 2 1/16" all the way up to 6" dash in the corner gauges. Some of the higher end ones tell you exactly when to shift for best acceleration to rip the pants of the mustang punks.
