Default MBC Install

OK, to install the MBC on the greddy kit, do I need to T it off the blue line from the turbo to the wastegate or put the wastegate inbetween the turbo and the wastegate. No instructions on the MBC, got it 2d or 3d hand. Thanks.

put the mbc in between your boost source and the WG.

it doesn't tee in the line, it runs inline from the turbo compressor to the wastegate can.

That's what I thought. I had a few people saying it just needed to "bleed off the vaccuum". I couldn't get them to believe me, so I had to post this topic.

That is one type of MBC. Bleeders help keep the pressure that the wastegate sees lower than the boost level, which effectively raises the actual boost achieved before it fully opens. A ball and spring type stops any pressure from reaching the wastegate actuator until a certain pressure (boost) is achieved, effectively holding the wastegate completely closed until the target boost is achieved. So it depends on what type you have. I prefer a ball and spring, because it keeps the wastegate totally shut while a bleeder still allows the wastegate to slowly open through the entire boost range. End longwindedness.
