Fab9's 350hp intercooler was simple to install but the plumbing needed a lot of DIY work vs the common eBay intercooler which could be aligned with the OEM intercooler plumbing (MSM plumbing is 2" so not great on the coldside anyway since a 2.5"->2" reducer is needed, for flow is better to have a constant radius from turbo to intake manifold or always increasing - and it's steel so will be very rusty, especially on the cold side).
Is this what you meant by "it's a pain in the *** to install in the MSM"?
Non-MSM owners had to DIY their own plumbing anyway so considered MSM owner complainers to be "DIY wimps".
