MSM EBC and Boost creep on MS3PNP
Hey everyone,
I am having an issue with my MSM. After installing a Kraken low-mount kit I have come to a couple of problems with the EBC and boost creep. So first off, I wired the MAC solenoid to the existing wiring on the MSM boost solenoid (in front of the valve cover), I followed MS instructions on which ports to use (2/3). So my first issue is that when I turn on the boost controller in TS I get an error message that the pin is already in use (High Current Out 2), however, this is the way it is configured from the base map DIYAutotune provides so I'm confused as to why I'm getting the message when it's wired to the stock solenoid wiring. The second issue (which I suspect is related), is that my boost is spiking out of control (the highest I allowed was 15psi) when the solenoid is plumbed but turned off in TS but when I plug straight into the WG actuator with no solenoid in between I get a constant 8 psi. Now I blew on the solenoid and there is no restriction both when the car is on and off. What can be causing this?
Any insight is appreciated. I looked everywhere but only found one other person that had the same issue but don't know how he resolved it (the interference issue) and another describing the same issue with spiking im having but that post had no replies lol. Again any help is greatly appreciated
Gus.
