new to the scene, any suggestions?
lol indeed Wes! I'm suprised by so much positive information w/o being flamed. I definitely have to say this forum has been extremely warm and helpful.
Savington - great price out, that really helps to figure-in the other necessities of making a fun performance car. I find a good handful of miatas that 'should' have the LSD's and some w/rollbars too. What I like about your suggestion is I can enjoy owning the car at a low buy-in and start upgrading immediately with purchases under a grand until I'm ready to boost it. btw, love the black miata

Gizmoto: Since you are in the Raliegh area, I hope you have been in contact with TMR, the local Miata club? I where a member of Triangle Miata Roadsters while living in NC and even though they are not the coolest bunch of 21 year old racers (ok, avarge age is a bit high), they are a nice gang and there are some nicely moded cars there. They have monthly meetings at a Mazda place (forgot what it is called). www.tmr-nc.com If you swing by, tell garry I said Hi.
yeap, I've contacted them via email and have asked some others in another thread about local clubs. I will try to get there one of these days, perhaps I'll fit in easier being a 34 yr old ;-) and I'll be sure to send them your regards.
