Default Noob engine management advice wanted

Hello all, Lurking and learning for awhile now. Theres tons to research.
Putting together a turbo kit for the 92 in my spare time and could use some input, What i've acquired so far:

Greddy kit
stripes/
intercooler
tan injectors -free is good
Gauges etc.

Not really sure where to go with engine management, I want something that doesnt require me to play with it everytime i want to drive, I dont mind playing with it on the weekends. Not sure if i qualify for needing a bigger fuel pump or should just go squirt with larger injectors maybe. Is an o2 clamp still required with a dif ecu? Been debating a bipes vs squirt for awhile now.
Any other suggestions/opinions on whatever ive missed or what you would do instead would be great. Mostly i want more power out of it without going too far and and making it something i HAVE to tinker with every day instead of for fun.

Thanks for any suggestions!

On this forum, any question regarding engine management choice will be answered with a chorus of MEGASQUIRT. It's a nice system with plenty of support on this forum. However, there are other choices. A few of us here still run EMB and EMU piggyback units.

I've been running an EMB for a couple of years because, since I live in the People's Republic of California, I needed to retain my stock ECU. I recently switched from a Greddy based system to a BEGi system and turned up my boost to 12 psi. With my current set-up in my sig, I have plenty of fuel and support from OG to run it safely and efficiently. The only thing I paid "list" price for was OG's Autotune and the AFPR that came with my BEGi kit.

who says you don't retain your stock ECU with a Piggyback MS.

everything else is weaksauce, unless you spend the $$$ and get a MSPNP, AEM, Xede or Hydra.

[QUOTE]who says you don't retain your stock ECU with a Piggyback MS./QUOTE]

Wasn't me. I just said I decided to go with a piggyback 4 years ago when I went FI. Wish I would have had the option for MS then, but I didn't.

However, it's 4 years later and my EMB is still viable and running fine. I don't know how you define "weaksauce", but I can't think of too many people who are better resources and more helpful than Olderguy. That kinda makes up for alot of bells and whistles that you don't get with the old school EMB. I'm not necessarily even recommending it, but it's there. Even 4 years ago, I got my entire set up, with injectors, for under $300. I imagine you can find one just gathering dust on someone's shelf these days.
