my dead grandmother had a steering-wheel wrap like that in her coupe d'ville..

 

It was on the car when I bought it. I am planning on getting another steering wheel I don't like it either.

 

At the drag strip, How was your launching? What did you rev at?

 

I had it about 4,000 and would easy off then dump it so I didn't spin or bog the engine down. But it still would spin not bad off the line but 1st and 2nd when at full boost. I have a open rear end and 185 tires. I just played around till I found a good spot that I could get off the line without spinning or bogging the engine. I ran a 14.9 and a 14.8 then my clutch started slipping and I ran 15.3-15.5 after that happened

 

I just want to get the proper set up. So i can just put some slicks on and jump off the line. I went to the strip for fun one night. (greddy 5.5psi) My take off was bad. I kept spinning 1st and half of 2nd. (stock wheels, but new tires). I dont want to ride the clutch off the line because i want to save the life of it. I hit 93mph at the end but my 60ft. Sucked big ****. so my 1/4 was 15.4. I want to get a 1.8 diff and get some stickier tires. And try agian

 

Yeah me too. I want to get a torsen, slicks, and the megasquirt with launch control and flatshift. I have been told that it helps alot.
