Default Q about recirc bov

Ive got a greddy type RS bov and i want to recirc it, if I use the U pipe and connect the vacuum line to the barb on the U pipe should the recirculation barb be before the vacuum or after it? Also would i be able to just take this barb out and re drill it for the bigger recirc barb and leave the crank case vacuum thing alone? or should i definatly use the barb on the greddy U pipe for that vacuum.

Pix of my settup with the Greddy RS on page 3 of my cardomain. I used the the vaccum on the intake manifold since i dont have a AFM and cant use a crank case breather.

To recirc:

Since you aren't using the U, then use Olderguy's method, of tapping the AFM itself.

Crankcase Breather Line Solution:

But for now you can leave it open, however it is NOT ideal.

i see. i figured i would need to have a small pipe with a barb... i guess if i dont want to move everything over into the corner ill have to get a smaller filter, like the HKS super-hyper-awesome-ultra-mega flow... a go-go.

You could do something like this:

Since your BOV is already pointed down, you could tap the bottom of the elbow and run the hose up to it. Then you can tap the AFM for the breather line. Or just use the elbow and call it day?

thats a good idea and it looks good too, but doesnt the recirc have to be after the afm and before the turbo? i think i will def tap the afm for the breather tho.

ah yes, you are correct. I wasn't thinking. That would cause the AFM to meter air already metered.

You could easily use a small length of straight off the turbo, enough to recirulate at. Might need a 90* for the filter though.

i think that sounds like the plan, ill use a piece of the pipe from one of the stock ones and then either 90* my filter or get the HKS one
