Back on topic, and I've made some progress.

I canceled my order of a fuel pump as the shop only informed me after my order that it was going to take 3 weeks to arrive... I've got another shop lined up but I haven't bought one yet.

I changed my fuel filter, it seemed to be fueling a little better, but only very slightly.

The big news is that after reading into o2 clamps, I had an idea. I'm running a lc-1 wideband controller, and it has a simulated narrow band output. So I've set the narrow band output for 1v at 11.7 afr and 0.1v at 12.7 afr. I've installed a small double throw pressure switch so that when below 0.5psi boost the ecu sees the original o2 sensor reading, where 0.5v is 14.7, and above 0.5psi boost it sees the simulated o2 sensor reading, where 0.5v is 12.5.

It works great, as I build pressure in closed loop it takes about 1/2 to 3/4 of a second to drop from 14.7 to 12.5. And it holds a good steady 12.5. Unfortunately as I build more than an indicated 3/4 psi it starts to lean out, so I better get on and re-order a fuel pump!



Fingers crossed I'll have a sensibly fueling car soon!
