Well good news I am getting the heat shield made tomorrow and everything wrapped. But I was looking over a few things and the waste gate was no tight at all. Tightend it and it spools at 3000RPM.......OMG I am so happy right now but i need to turn the boost down cause it was going to 15 PSI. I am also wondering what is the max boost i should run on this?

Glad you were able to find something to make it spool better, but you do not want to be boosting 15psi unless you know your setup well. I dont know where to start on an unknown like this. Ok first, the greddy kit is supposed to boost 6psi out of the box. Ill try to make up a quick checklist to see what your setup is, then me or others can help.

1)What color are your injector clips? Blue will be stock, Tan is 1.8 injectors.
2)Your Aux. FPR appears to be the BEGi unit, thats a good thing, the one sitting on my garage floor has the marking BEGI around the top, please verify this.
3)Check your ECU wiring harness, are any electronics units hooked up to it (I.e Emanage, O2 clamp, etc)
4) any gauges in the car that can help tell what is going on?
5) do you have the means to check your timing? if so that can be helpful to know. There is a blue clip on the drivers side of the bay that you can clip the positive end of the timing light to.
6) Look at the Wastegate actuator signal source. It is a vacuum line that comes out of the compressor housing. Does it go straight to the Wastegate acutator? The Actuator is the gold colored thing on the right hand side of your compressor in the second picture. Knowing this will let us know if there is a boost control device.

Finally, it looks like you got yourself a pretty sweet setup. I really like the rims. Hopefully we can get you feeling good about your car very soon.

Get the a/f <12 and manually bump the timing back a few deg and try for 15lbs. If all goes well and af is maintained at 15lbs then bring the timing back up and keep listening. If you hear detonation you could try a touch more fuel or back off timing and work with it and it'll do 15lbs. (imo)

Well i guess I got my work cut out for me....Umm quick update, Got the heatshield made and turned the boost back to 8psi. Now as for the other things well I need to find that out and look. Some of those questions I have answers for now, some i have questions for.

1.injector colors I am not sure but will look
2.YES it is a BEGI unit.
3.were is the ecu and what should be signs of other things?
4.Boost gauge and AIR/FUEL<----I know the air fuel is pointless. Plan on getting oil temp and EGT
5.Ill have to look into that.
6.I know the car has a manual boost controller and i am pretty sure there is a vacum line that comes off the waste gate.

thanks again guys

Ecu is under the passenger side carpet, right where the feet rest. What you are looking for is any wires spliced into the main ecu harness. There are various units for modifying the fuel and ignition and its good to know if you have one of them or not. if there is a boost controller, it will be on the vacuum line connected to the wastegate actuator thingie.

find out if you have a timing control device (such as bipes or msd). if not you should get one! having your timing retarded in the bottom end will also reduce bottom end performance and spool times.

It's not exactly pointless. if you're in boost and it reads lean, then you are very lean and run the risk of damage to your motor in short time if you keep your foot into it.

Yeah, it doesn't tell you how rich or lean you are, but you can think of it as an idiot light to tell you if you're dangerously lean.

a WB A/f Gauge, is more vital than a EGT gauge....although your AFR cannot tell you if your timing is too off.
