Got rid of my intake. All the turbo sounds are gone. Sad face.

You were running 10psi on the stock block? Any idea of power?

Still running 10 pounds. I have put the laptop away and just drive it on the reg. So far all is good. If I had to guess maybe high 100s. First gear is roasting regardless of traction. Second holds if it is good dry road. iI haven't had it in a dyno. Waiting for summer to swap the motor and tranny.

Fix or find another car and swap? I have a built engine 6 speed on standby that I was waiting to swap this summer.

Still runs and drives fine. I don't think it popped the radiator. I think I should find a non running 94 and swap all my **** then sell the rest.

tow truck made a right turn then immediately stopped for a ambulance 100 meters to it's front. I turned right behind the tow truck while looking over my left shoulder for on coming traffic.

Did the cops say anything about the turbo?

Cops? Why would they care? I ran into a tow truck. I talked the guy into giving me a free tow home so no cops anyway.

In my neck of the woods they care. I figured you might have hit a company truck so cops would of had to come by law/policy or whatever.

It probably was a company truck and the driver didn't want to deal with the police or his bosses.

There was probably zero damage to the tow truck.

in Oregon you don't have to report accidents to the police under a certain damage value, let alone get them involved at the scene.

In OH, no personal injury = no police. Only report if damage > $400 which nobody does unless filing insurance claim. Trade name, address, and vehicle registration number to all the parties.

Cops usually take their sweet time, if at all, responding to accidents with no injuries.

I feel you could fix it. Once you start tearing into taking the broken stuff off, it may not be that bad too replace.

Yeah, this.

After figuring out if you want to go through insurance/their insurance/whathaveyou, look around for part outs local to you and see what you can find and how much it would cost. I'm guessing you're not going to do much with their insurance (or even yours) since you implied that you were at fault, right?

Technically his fault yeah, even if just a simple error. I've done the exact same ting a couple years ago in my daily. Right onto a busy street, didn't see car stopped as I was checking left.

Call me crazy, but I'd rather keep all the hard work of fitting things into the chassis in tact. Pull the bumper and hood off. Really check things out, if it is just the radiator support you're golden. Given the fact that the intercooler looks like untouched it is probably not that bad once you really get into it. Maybe I get too emotionally invested in my chassis
