Negative. I suspect if you order another turbo kit from a respectable vendor, your whole kit would be installed on your car before any refunds are issued. That is me being pessimistic though. I would gladly like to be proved wrong.

The reality is either there are a crazy amount of refunds to be issued, or the money has already be allocated elsewhere.

As an observation, there was only movement on TSE's part when sixshooter had mentioned FTC and the California Department of Consumer Affairs.

I have to wonder how gullible some of you are in real life...

You guys will never get your money back from TSE until ALL OF YOU start putting legal pressure on him. Seriously its been months and he hasnt done anything. Bring down the hammer and get your money back.

Has anyone actually filed a complaint anywhere with a government agency or are you people just going to whine like a bunch of six year olds that didn't get your candy? There are necessary and proper methods for dealing with this kind of thing and I'm not detecting anything but gum flapping going on here. I'm not impressed. And I'm sure he's not either.

I know that most of you have not ever dealt with business & regulatory agencies but they exist specifically for issues like this and can be somewhat user-friendly depending upon the agency. I find it laughable that some of you were willing to sit on hold for 45 minutes to get a internet service technician scheduled to come to your home but you aren't interested in recovering hundreds or thousands of dollars through filing a simple report. I'm not saying you deserve what you are getting but I am saying you're not doing anything to show it matters to you.

So, yeah. Whine more in this thread and see what that gets you.

I merely asked if anyone had gotten a refund. If someone has, fine I can wait until he gets to me. If no one has, then it makes more sense to pursue other options.

It made sense to pursue other options 2 days after you were indirectly told in a vague email that you were getting a refund. A one man show blowing smoke up your *** about "processing" a refund in 2020 is wild. It takes a whole 2 minutes maximum per person to issue a refund if the business has the funds available and has an intention of making good.

We're not trying to **** on you, but dear lord ya'all are patient and accepting to the point that you're screwing yourselves.

Yes, this would be my take on the situation! I've already done two credit card charge back disputes this crazy, 2020 year and might be forced to do a PayPal dispute. Know your time limit to dispute and don't neglect following through if a seller can't provide your paid item/s. If they won't refund and allow you to repurchase to extend your payment protection then screw them, time to throw in the towel and move on.

Two of the companies I ordered from were one of a kind and I may never be able to get those items. I will try again next year with one company...if they're still in business. The third item will cost me 3-4x to switch to another brand plus hours upon hours of install and setup time. I'm trying to be patient as I still have a few months to dispute the charge but will not let the seller keep my money without providing the service/merchandise to which they agreed.

Maybe start a list here so you know how many are involved and where they are located. Might be able to get multiple agencies applying pressure.

I have filed a report with the FTC as a starter. We will see if anything progresses from there.

I've received a refund from Andrew, so that transaction is complete.

You consider this it working out?

I would consider it working out if something I paid for arrived in a reasonable period of time, was a quality product, and I had been using it successfully for the many months since I had paid for it. Think about your original expectations the moment you pressed the purchase button.

What you were describing is akin to being wrongfully convicted and spending time in prison, then being exonerated and released years later and saying, "Well, I'm glad that all worked out."

You've suffered a loss at the hands of another through no fault of your own. I'm pleased that you have been reimbursed but I hope you would agree it would have been far better not to have had the problem created for you initially.

Default Power steering low pressure line

I’ve just put my engine + Trackspeed combination back in the car, and see now that the compressor outlet clocked at the recommended 45d towards the block, runs into a tangle of powersteering lines.

Has anyone come up with any neat solutions to redirect these lines?

I had to relocate the ps fluid reservoir. Still was a bit of a mess. A portion of that failed eventually and I just went with a manual steering rack. Life's been easier without it.. except for in parking lots. Either way it's definitely something that needs to be addressed.

I don't have a good pic, unfortunately, but the short answer is yes. I did it with both AC and PS, no relocation of PS reservoir. Used FM pre-formed silicone charge pipe. One thing I do remember is slightly re-clocking so that the outlet was closer to the sheet metal "shelf".

That said, my VVT motor is going in without AC or PS.

I'm on kraken hardware, but should be same for Tse.
I chopped off the ps pump inlet that faced back and has a loop going to the reservoir, the revelded the outlet to point straight out, this got rid of the round loop that was in the way of the turbo.

Turbo clocked down and about 45 degrees facing engine block.

90 degree silicone elbow, 6" of straight pipe, into another 90 degree silicone elbow and into intercooler. This fits between the mess of hoses, its tight,, but it fits good..

I also run PS on my 90 with the TSE setup w/ FM silicon charge pipes and the fitment is extremely tight but the hot side goes directly inbetween all of the PS lines. Had to loosen the compressor housing and wiggle it inbetween. Not great fitment in regards to rubbing i'll admit.
