Turbo kit that gives highest WHP
#21
You guys are so mean, haha
basically, There is the BEGi turbo kit, and then there is the cosworth supercharger
Call BEGi and find out of there kit will work on your car.
If it wont, wait until they have a kit that will. Just please, pleeease dont buy a supercharger. Their lame and do not belong on sports cars, also they are directly linked with erectile disfunction.

holly **** lol dude no one realy makes stuff for miatas that new. Most of us are to cheap to fork out that kinda cash on top of a new car. But in all honesty you best bet is to learn what the hell you are doing with forced induction and then make something yourself or get someone to make you a one off system. Becouse at the end of the day you are the one who has to live with the car and all of its lil nit picky issues from time to time. And to prevent you from blowing it up, you really should know what the hell you are doing. We can show you the how why etc, if fact we already have with our many faq's but the application of the data, is still up to you. gl to you man. And dont hesitate to talk to begi etc they are the only people i have heard of thus far modifing NC's.

280whp almost exactly twice the stock whp. Stuff is going to break if you drive it with any vigor. A lot of stuff. I'd suggest calling Mazda Parts from Good-Win Racing - Mazda Performance Specialists and Flyin Miata, in that order.
Add your location to your profile so we can see where you are. Not too many MX5 owners on this particular forum but maybe someone here can find someone near you to help out. We can install an OTS forced induction kit or build a custom system on the MX5 if you are near us.
So to answer your question specifically, you can get whatever power you like from either a turbo, positive displacement or centrifugal supercharger. The first limit will be the strength of the engine itself, not the blower. After that, the limit is the depth of your pockets and patience.

Just to add that Cosworth Supercharger kit is a no go according monthly Miata magazine as it has been causing problems which Cosworth themselves can't find and fix.
This also leads to the worry that whatever the problem is for being SC could be related to FI and not the actual SC basis of FI. Get in contact with BEGI and get talking alot.

DO NOT order an exhaust system for a naturally aspirated car if you plan to go turbo...you'll just be wasting money. You'll probably have to contact ARTech, EnthuzaCar or someone like that to fab something up as I doubt there are any suitable off-the-shelf options.
As far as turbo kits go...there is only one. I have met Corky Bell and would gladly put anything he designs on my car. NA turbo'd by BEGi...will turbo an NC with whatever the top of the line BEGi kit is by then when I can afford it.

You do understand that simply adding more power from boost may cause problems with other parts of the engine a drivetrain right?
