The guy is a ******* douche bag that troll's around all day trying to sell his pos stock parts, shitting on other peoples fs/ft threads, shitting on offers to his parts, spell checking everyone's posts, quoting forum rules, etc. He is basically a worthless sob that happens to own a pos turbo miata. He lives in his Mom's basement living on some disability check from the Army and selling parts off a miata he wrecked. The poor guy needs some vagina bad and no his Mom's doesn't count. Then he needs to enter the real world and get a job, so we're not paying for his ****. He's a drain on the economy and MT.net. When you read this zoomin...get off my pole or I'll **** your life up.

From what I have discussed with many people about the NC the problem with the NC motor is not that it is weak, its that you cant replace the ECU and the stock ECU has many different variables including as many as five fuel maps so chipping it is a no no unless you can figure out what it is really doing.
BEGI uses the Xede on the NC and as much as I hate the Xede it is currently the best system for the NC and BEGI has proven it on its NC kits.
Unfortunately due to all the blown motors from the sniper mods the NC motor has gotten a bad wrap I dont think it deserves.

There is a BEGI dealer in central NJ that also may be able to help on the install or fabrication of anything you may need, exhaust, etc. A lot of the miata mob people use them for BEGI parts.

Don't let anyone scare you into not modifying this car. I am not a big fan of the '06 body style. But I tell ya, I'd live with it, for that power and driveability. It is awesome, fast, smooth, and a hell of a lot of fun to drive.

p.s. if you plan to go turbo, ditch the roadster exhaust. The turbo will work with it, but most people will replace it.

Actually, the 5-speed in the NC is a raging piece of ****. The MX-5 guys burn through the 5-speeds and I know a of a guy who Johnwag deals with freqeuntly (thanks for the spare 6-speed, honey) who has quite a few to rebuild.
just like he NA and NB, the 5-speed is trash and the 6-speed is glory.

there is no way to make it measure map and convert the output to the stock ecu to an appropriate maf voltage or even use both?
Just trying to save people some headache, i've had some bad experience when trying to tune my xede unit and going into the 16s when the turbo sharply spools up and the maf lagging a bit. I hope its my head gasket and nothing more lol.
I'm thinking by adding a map, the xede can reads pressure instead of load on the left and rpm on the bottom. That would be the best tuning solution IMO.
