Default Wastegate Problems

Ok heres my cross posted problem:

The threaded rod that adjusts into the piece held on by the cotter pin decided to basically pull itself out of the piece held on by the cotter pin. The main problem is: I have to have it pretty much at the end of the thread.. cause any closer and i'm spiking damn near 10 PSI. The only solutions I came up with are locktite it in place and possibly in the future (once tested) tag it in place with a welder.

Opinions? Can I get a new rod/diaphragm?

Maybe you could cut your wastegate arm back a hair, re-thread it an use an extension similar to this one:

I'll bring over two wastgate arms on my way home, we'll see if they'll work. Try to get home asap!
