Its going to be badass when you get to tell people that you're running 20psi. Its going to be cooler when I **** stomp a mudhole in your *** at less boost on a smaller turbo. Its going to be coolest when you tell people that you're running single-digit spark advance so you can run 20psi and not make enough output to bend rods.

3k miles, 230whp, 2560r, 14 psi, 3 track days which means it saw more boost than you will out through your motor.

Good luck with that.

snowboarder is a huge flaming ------, your GTX rods will be totally fine at 400whp. Please get a GT3076, tune it for 13.5:1 AFRs (that's what those turbos like, just trust me) and drive it off a motherfucking cliff so we never have to see your stupid posts again

Because you know how people respond to idiots, and you kind of have a feeling you're a ******* idiot.

Dude, seriously, just run like 30psi and hook the compressor outlet up to your *******.

that suck for you but did you have any one check the rods for cracks. i have 4k on my motor and ran 20psi for 2 strait days then dropped it to 15psi and had no problems and i see redline every time i get in my car. i also ran a gt2560.

Well, snowboarder fucked something else up. I know my car made more power at 14:1 than 13.5, so I put it there and you're right about the more boost, the faster. I'd run 18psi or so at 14:0, not 20 though.

p.s. Snowboarder is gay, he touched me at the truckstop by the dumpster.

Dude, even at 20psi you were only making 243rwhp IIRC. 20psi != 20psi != 20psi

Paul im not able to advance my timing do to the link piggy back and its killing low end with the dropped comp pistons and the turner did not play with the ignition that was set for the stock 9.5:1 he just played with the air fuels. Then after I posted here on I dropped to 15psi and played with ignition and fuel myself and it made 225whp and I had left a safety buffer seeing how the link is not that great.

Redline is pretty hardcore man. Better hope the welds in the manifold are in good shape.

I have 2 of them, the big ones. I had to overnight them from Japan though. You might also want to consider going with twins if you're trying to boost 20g's.
