(Late to the party. . .)

Wow! Eric, that's an exceptional time especially for TTD! Can you share some details of your car build? Is that a 4.77 FD on A7s for TT and R7 for PT (225?)?

Edit: I found this, and read that you tuned to 156whp to comply in PTD. I'd love to hear more about the real guts of the build, as no Miatas up here are making that kind of power. I suspect a lot of it is in the tuning. I asked Emilio if he'd tune my car if I brought it to him, and he said "we don't offer tuning services". We have a local (NorCal) tuner that's good, but likely conservative especially with the octane and the tuning at the top end.

99 engine
.080" over 11:1 pistons with xx rings from Emilio
SCAT rods (went beefy and heavy because my last motor pooped out Carillos)
Calico coated ACL race bearings: Rod and main
oil squirters removed
IJ crank scraper
BE Race oil pump shimmed for 80 PSI
Supermiata CNC head with +1 valves
stock 99 cams
stock 99 manifold with VICS left unplugged
Skunk2 TB
RB header
custom 2.5" exhaust
supermiata crank damper
E85
everything fully balanced
ACT prolite flywheel and 4 puck unsprung clutch (because Emilios race clutch was out of budget at the moment)

makes 178/146 unrestricted
