They did that on 275 R6s. That is indeed very encouraging.
His video of them chasing down that Ferrari is great, except the part where a car, that the Ferrari was overtaking, spun off the track in T1-T2. Hard to tell if the Ferrari was responsible. Mark said after that session they had a lot of people come over to their pit to check out the car. Then the Ferrari driver came over and said something to the effect of he had new tires now and was ready for a rematch.

Watched the vid- and it looks to me that he's definitely got the ferrari on driving. No surprise there. The oval straight makes it painfully obvious- the ferrari probably has 2 seconds on him right there at that speed. btw- I think it's nuts to run a car at those speeds w/o some safety equipment- suit, gloves... I can't believe NASA allows it.
