I was toying with the idea of getting a GoPro but there are a few things I really don't like about that camera. This seems to do everything right at a comparable price.

With the hero2 out, you should be able to find deals like I did, a hero1 for $150 (not the $150 on gopro's site, the $240 one). With te LCD that's $230. Still cheaper than the one hustler linked, but there may be other reasons he doesn't like it.

...and I still have no way to attach it to the roll bar, still have to **** with AA batteries, and it will only hold a 2GB card.
what? You can buy a roll bar mount for $20-$30. The GoPro has a lithium battery that it uses which lasts just long enough for 2 hours at 1080p, and it will take a 32GB sd card.

Can you see where the camera is pointed with the LCD backpack or do you have to record and playback?
I wish I could just buy a damn Racekeeper.
So this camera of yours is wired into the car? All but the original go pro come with rechargeable batteries and handle up to 32gb. That $150 gopro was NOT the original.
