Default Change in CV2 formulation

I was curious if anyone has any information on Redline CV2 changing their formulation? We (enduro team racing Champ Car) have been repacking hubs after each race weekend with CV2 for years without issues. The last two races we've had bearing failures. The only change is we are using a "new" tub of CV2 purchased late last year or early this year. Redline was purchased by Phillips 66 Spectrum Corporation a few years ago, but was supposed to be left to run itself. We all know that companies have to make money.

We noticed that the grease that was on the outside seams to "oxidize" to a brown color rather quickly compared to older hubs we keep packed as spares (these are usually hubs we've timed out or noticed something minor, but questionable with the races) Given our past DPE with CV2 in stock hubs we were pretty happy. We've run over 50hrs on a set of MSM hubs before they failed with nothing more than scheduled repacking. We're likely switching to NEO grease, but I was curious if anyone had heard of any changes.

We are going to keep running OEM hubs before someone starts saying we should run Miatahubs, Wilwoods, or what ever company has recently released unproven taper bearing hubs. We don't have an issue with the Miatahubs, just too expensive for our blood given our record with OEM hubs. Seen videos of how well a new set of Wilwoods held up at a race we were recently out.
