You may have to size a bit larger to be able to get into it. I believe mine is a M and I'm 60lbs lighter and it takes some contorting to get it on due to the lack of stretching.
If you are always racing with other people, I don't mind having to just hold my arms up and bend over so they can take it off me. It feels better, to me, when it is a snug fit. If I was doing this on my own, then I would probably go a size up, or just wear it all day.

Hyperhydrosis crew is here, lol. I think I'm going with a medium.

Can I put coffee in it if racing in the winter to warm me up and provide a drink?

Lol, yes that hat. I guess I was mostly just pissed because its made for a HUGE melon. I don't have a small head... but my hat seemed to be fitted for a "virtual planetoid"

While adorable, there are a few issues with HANS dog.

First he is using an inferior product.
Second he has not glowing eyes.
Third he has no matching glowing eyes to the color of said Superior product.

What makes the Dfender better than a Hans?

A system that prevents belts sliding off of the HANS.

Okay, my cats are pretty much refusing to wear the Defnder. I guess they prefer the HANS.

and...
  • You can use 3" belts
  • Its adustable (most of the SA2010 helmets have anchor holes about 2.5" Further forward so you get to buy a new strap, I just adjust mine)
  • Rake is adjustable
  • You get a significant amount of "transverse" protection, enough that I'm not Buying a halo seat now
  • Necksgen will recert for $20, free if the straps pass the stretchy test
  • Rumor says that HANS will only recert once and it's $50 just for them to look at it, and then they charge you for parts
  • Stand21 felches abraded rectum
  • Defnder has green accents, which is bauce
I wouldn't have known all these things if I didn't buy one.

This is a cool justification for anyone thinking about buying one:
