Default Mounting plates for stock seat rails

We were installing a aluminum Kirkey seat in my Dads car this weekend getting it all buttoned up for Texas Miata Challange. We cut out a plate to mount the seat to the factory rails. Anyways it turned out so good I had him cut some extras. I put them up on ebay with my cost only as the min bid. Here are the links.

Not trying to step on any vendors toes, but I don't think anyone makes a universal mount for the factory sliders. Hope this helps some of you guys out. Posted this in the race section due to the topic. If you have any suggestions or alternate parts that could be cut let me know and I'll try and talk pops into cutting them at cost.

Need to make something like that with holes matching up the the common sparco, recaro mounting locations or large enough to drill our own holes!

Its Aluminum, it can be drilled to fit any seat very easily.

Gives you some adjustability to get the seat where you want it sitting, too. I know there's not a ton of room fore and aft but I'd leave them undrilled.

Yup, if I drilled holes 99% of the guys wouldn't use them. Basically you sit in the seat on the mount and get it exactly where you want it and have a buddy sharpie the holes.

Gotta be pretty short though to use this with a side mount rail like Sparco/Momo. I have a custom rail that puts my seat a few mm from the floor and I am 6' tall. I just barely fit with my helmet and a hard top.

I guess I mis-spoke, I wouldn't want holes pre drilled but the plate looks like it might be short for more common seats bolt patterns. I'm looking at a sparco seat, a momo seat and a Cobra seat I have. What are the dimensions of it?

+1. I'd buy one if there was an option for passenger side.

We are checking to see if the pass side is the same or if we need to cut a different plate. I'm in meetings all day but should have an answer tonight. This plate is a good solution to get a do it yourselfer 90% of the way to mounting a seat. No idea how other seats mount other than aluminum race seats, its up to you to make any brackets or drill any holes needed.

I did my driver side and it was kinda a PITA. basically I cut out 4 squares. bolted each square a corner of the stock rails, then fit the seat to the plates. it worked, but it took a loot of effort aligning ****. this plate would make my life easy.

Do you have the dimensions of the plate? Width & depth.
