Pretty sure you could just use the vent hole already present in the control arm, and put a pin in the bushing through that hole. Not actually modifying the arm.

Not sure if it'd wiggle its way out of the delrin, though.

I made a 3d printable tool you can use with a HF caliper to do NASA tire template measurements:

FYI the Hoosier 225/45-15 on a 10 inch rim does pass the 257 template.

ST6/TT6 is doing really well in real life, where is our thread activity?!

I am taking my streetcar to TT6 this weekend. Mid Ohio August is my favorite birthday weekend activity.

I'll be removing the front lip to be NASA legal, but running it as such:
2450lbs(it weighs 2515)
131 average WHP (132 peak, 125 average in real life)
205 R7/9" 6UL
900/500 Xida BGK
OEM bushings/balljoints and brakes
BTM Aero
6spd/3.9

Jealous of the trackable street car.
I'm having an internal struggle on if I should keep building to ST5 or pivot to ST6. 7+ entries per weekend for ST6 in NASA Rocky Mountain but 1 or maybe 2 in ST5. I'll be ready to race ST5 at the beginning of 2021 so I'll give it a year and the go where the people/fun are. Change to ST6 or drive the 20 hours to Mid West region.

Lol...yah, sorry.

Highest finishing clown car at ST6 Nationals last year and fastest clown car on the track that day (track record holder). But that was on the track, not on paper, so yeah.

Just finished reading this whole thread. I’ve never raced before and I have an NA6 NASA SM that I’m thinking of converting into a TT6 car so I can get started doing time trials and not be the slowest guy at the track. I live in ATL so I would be at tracks like RA, Barber, Roebling, etc. I have all the motor parts necessary for a decent BP4W build; seems like six speed tranny with the 4.1 rear end is the preferred recipe? Can I get away with the stock ECU or should I just immediately plan on MS3? I don’t have the jack for Efini’s car unfortunately.

I think 6-spd plus 4.3 is the preferred but I find that it hasn’t made as big of a difference as expected over having a 5-spd plus 4.3, at least not at Rd Atl.

Not sure about Barber because I haven’t run with the six speed there (yet).

And yea, I think you should just budget for a MS2 or a MS3 from the get go. “Buy it right, or buy it twice.” An older gen MSPnP2 should be more than good enough for what you’re planning. If you could grab a used one when the pop up, that’s the most economical way...

Yeah with 6 speed at these power levels it seems like 4.3 is the way.

If you can't beat 'em, run wheels that you can crash them out with! Still counts!

******' clown. At least don't throw stuff like that around when you know you did people dirty.

Let me make sure i got this right: The saltiest bitch over the scenario is someone who wasn't even involved?

Sounds pretty on-brand in this case.
