Didn't know it's been around for so long. Is this using the MS to send outputs to some OEM ECU to control the throttle?

Cars have been coming with electronic throttle bodies since the early 2000s.

It is currently set up to send commands to an unreleased piece of hardware, which will in turn control a DBW throttle body.

Default Scan this

Pushed the tub across the street to get scanned by Joe at Scarbo Performance. We're also scanning the subframes, spindles and control arms. Current plan is the gen 2 Keisler drop spindles and our own tubular/spherical bearing control arms. If the arms turn out well, we'll probably put them into production for 2019. We would not bother with a bushing version. The performance envelope we are engineering for requires control arms that do not currently exist anywhere on the planet. The tub will get a major portion lopped off front and rear, as GTA Unlimited rules allow that. Firewall modified to move engine back um, a lot. The entire body will be carbon fiber hung on tubular subframes. Plans for aero require removing most of the OEM tub too. Much measuring, many CAD.

Seen in this pic: surface plate, Romer arm, 5 axis CNC mill, Sonny, hacked up Miata.

Yah. When it's done it'll retain the head casting, block casting, timing belt hardware and the center of the floor pan. Everything else will be fabbed bits. Might keep the tail light lenses.

Not sure your "really" pushing any boundaries here....

Looking forward to high end parts development for the rest of us!

do you have to run the miata block/heads per rules or just because that's what you know/sell?

Compact, meets our power goals. Also comes with no small measure of satisfaction of being the fastest Miata evar.. and doing it with an actual Miata engine.

Rules are wide open. Rear mounted transverse Cummins, no problem. Side/Mid mounted 26B, no problem.

Will need most of the front firewall to still be there as well to stay in Unlimited.

Can't wait to see this thing progress.
