Eh, even though its several seconds under spec miata lap times, sebring looks like a pretty high speed track. Also, i found that the new spec miata lap time at sebring is 2:36 i believe. Here is a map of sebring:
Dude claims he was hitting 160 on the two long straights, and though i have no hard evidence to support this, i estimate spec miatas top speed to be only 110-115 on that straight. (i found a miata driver claiming 105 top speed, so added a bit for spec drivers). Right there for two long straights just the horsepower difference easily makes up that 6 seconds.

what does a spec run at laguna? what does sav, or emilio or bbundy run there?
