You should get a CG-Lock. I has one.

I'd have to give the CG Lock a solid "meh" review. Yes, it'll hold your butt down in the seat, but unless you've got a deep foamectomy on the seat back, your torso will still be free to slide around. I got tired of mine and yanked it about a month ago.

YMMV, however.

I kinda feel the same way. Better than stock though.

Just mounted my old Momo Acropolis into my NA. Got it all the way one the floor with a custom bracket while still using the stock mounting holes. So I can still put the stock seat back in if I need to. It's about 3 inches lower than stock. I'll post pics tommorow.

I mounted a 16" UltraShield rally sport for the passenger and a 15" for the driver's seat. I made brackets to mount them on the factory rails.

I had a Sparco Pro2000 in my NB. It put a small dent on the interior door card, but it was a track car so I wasn't too concerned. Besides, the dent wasn't that big either.

Thanks, The only problem is that the even though the seats are adjustable on the factory rails, I don't want to move them, so I may remount them with rigid brackets.

How comfortable are those ultrashields? It looks like very thin foam.

I ended up going with some Corbeau seats and harness and they are very comfortable. Don't mind them while driving to/from work.

No foam, just a cover over aluminum. If your noticing that they are uncomfortable, your not driving fast enough.

Touche if I was just racing all the time, but matters sometimes when trying to drive on street. So they were about what I thought they would be then.

Nice choice of beer.

Jacob300zx- I didn't know that nasa and scca certified seats. When did they start that? Also where is your seat back brace?

Have a great day,
Jared

wnright - I've heard that a layer of memory foam over the aluminum makes a great DD seat.
jfornachon - scca/nasa doesn't certify anything, just like harddog says scca approved, aka they won't hassle you over this seat like they would a plastic summit racing bucket. They will however certify a whole car with a log book, which mine has. I don't have to have a back brace for de/tt.

Anyone knows seat for small driver (read 5'3", 28 waist)? I tried Momo Starts but the lower support was too high for my back and was hurting me after 15 min of dd.
