No kidding.

So if they did anything wrong, according to that statement, it occured before 2009? Its weird that they did not under oath say anything about 2008 for instance. Why the distinction?

I did read them. All it says is that "these products do not fully comply with the stated SFI Specifications."

One possible explanation for this is that the products may have borne SFI labels that were made in an unauthorized facility. That fact alone would count as "not fully compliant." Nobody, including SFI, has actually said that any of the products failed functional tests, or were found to be improperly manufactured, or anything that would affect their performance. Both parties seem to be fixated on the labels themselves, which suggests to me that Impact may have merely been buying knockoff SFI labels from some third party, rather than obtaining them directly from SFI, in order to save a buck,

Cutting corners with chinese knock-off safety equipment is just a big no-no!

I run 5 point RCI harnesses w/ cam lock in my car, and I am very happy with them.

I bought a bouquet of flowers from a non-licensed florist for my wife. The State found out and they were recalled and I returned them to the florist. I then went out and bought the exact same flower arrangement, utilizing flowers bought from the same farmer, from a different licensed florist for 20% more!!!
