Why is that Saturn racing in NASA instead of lemons? Who builds a Saturn racecar?

The Saturn team consistently finishes not last, and they have at least one (probably a couple) very good drivers on the team. One of the harder cars to pass out there.

 

Yup.

That Saturn is actually well driven and quite quick. I recall stock class autocrossers legally getting those down to 2350# and they make about 155whp with I/H/E.

 

Suddenly, there are hopes of racecar glory in America's trailer parks.
