Hai, we will have an RSX-S in E1 and a 2012 Honda Civic Si built to Grand AM ST specs. Not sure what class the Si will be in. Not even sure which car I'll be driving, it's likely I'll be in the RSX though.

And to Emilio, I call BS. You guys have two small cars and you get two pit spots. We have two large cars (relative to a miata) and we only have one pit spot. Sharing is caring...

Two weeks from right now I'll be at Thunderhill for the first time, getting ready to do the test day. Twenty minutes from now we'll be putting the engine in...

lol.. from what I understand. if you were willing to take just 1 pit space for your 2 cars, you get to pick your pit space.

calling it 2 pit spaces is also quite a stretch. our "2" pit spaces are a total of 20' long. Miata is 14' long. you get the point.

Yea I guess the reason we took 1 space was to get a "nicer" spot. We're the first spot in from the north ramp. I've never been to TH so I have no idea if it's actually a decent spot or not.

In for crowded pit lane...

Flight leaves crappy Ohio in just over 10 days. Yay

That's a good spot, but just like where you live, your neighbors can make or break your location... And, if you have 6-Hour competitors next door, they will cease operations approximately 6 hours into the race, perhaps leaving you with a little more elbow room.

We're 2 spots in north of the south ramp. We're only a spot away from Mercer Motorsports, the GT3 Cup team that will be going for their 3rd overall win in a row. So, there will be lots of people lurking close by our pits to watch the action.

We're close to the Hooverspeed guys. There's another team in between us but I didn't recognize the name. We're used to sharing pit stalls in Grand AM so I don't think it will be an issue. Being friendly with your pit neighbors goes a long, long way.

Picture taken by Murat Guruz, one of our fuelers Friday 25th at BRP. Dean and Sean were getting familiar with the cars plus some seat time and collecting data. We stuck around 'til after sunset to putt around the track and aim our revised light set up. In this pic, I'm driving and that's John Wing with the crew chief headset.

I love this pic

Nothing clever. Just a sheet of aluminum tacked onto trunk. I found some aluminum piano hinge years ago and finally found a use for it, attaching the sheet to the trunk. Two turnbuckles underneath and its done. We added a few short pieces of .125" angle to stiffen it.

Good luck! Should be interesting to watch this unfold... unfortunately I will be at the track (in AZ) for most of it.

+1. It looks like a really severe aerodynamic device for hood extraction.
