MKTurbo Black Friday 2025 Sales Thread
Just finished up getting tuned today on the dyno and made a nice 180 whp and 180 torque at 12 psi. Ran out of injectors so looks like thats the next upgrade for me. im using 420cc yellow rx8 injectors. Still getting a little boost creep at the high rpms. so i'll need to port some more. My tuner thinks it could also be the rear housing not allowing the flapper to open wide enough so i might port that side as well to allow the flapper to open more.
Damn 230 is my goal. Im not sure if a hub dyno reads lower or not thats what i was on when i was tuned not a chassis dyno. Also could be worn out pump or dirty fuel filter that causing poor delivery higher up. I have a walbro 255 ready to go in but never had the chance to put it in yet.
My cars powerband looks like a damn supercharger haha.
This is was on a 1.6, manual boost controller set at about 12 psi but It still was creeping to about 15 even with what seemed like well ported wastegate opening. Either way my car rips.

it was on a mix of 93 and leaded 110, haha. 65/35 split id guess. The 100 Oct pump was closed so my options were limited.
Best time for me yet today, still at 102 trap speed.
I also run Flow Force, but with a stock returnless NB system, with 91 CA gas.

Everyone who has posted dyno's and videos they are all looking good. You guys are really quick at getting them on dyno's.
I have always seen hub dyno's read a bit low. They are great for doing steady state tuning, but if you want high numbers dynojets are the way to go.

I have a feels yours not hitting 12psi until like 5K.
hmm knowing hub dynos read a bit low i wonder what my car makes on a dynojet. Also had a slight crisis yesterday. After driving into the city at a red light i heard knocking popped the hood and thought i developed rod knock. after poking around today found out my harmonic balancer was missing a bolt and the other 3 were really loose. put in a new bolt and tighten them all down snug and the sound went away.
