All done! The trunk was stuck, not opening with key or latch. Pulled the rod from an access hole under the trunk floor, and found the lock mechanism was rotating toward the lock, instead of applying tension away. Removed a circlip and flipped the lever arm... All sorted.

Thanks! Now I just need to finalize my order with Moti/Blackbird Fabworx on a new roll bar and get stuff installed next week with Downmented.

What color should the roll bar be? Fire truck red? Beryllium? White? Teal?

I really think just black or beryllium. Not a fan of blue on blue.

I kind of agree. I wish my car was already a neutral color so I could get a screamer bar.

I don't know what color best matches beryllium but perhaps I can take my spare wheel somewhere to match it up. Or stick with black. :/

Loud would be fun, but maybe not to cops.

I mean, if you could get it matched PERFECTLY to the exterior color it'd be pretty slick. I just feel like black roll bars work best. Not gonna be easy to match beryllium perfectly but a metallic gray is close enough.

I still vote black, ha.

Anyone have an idea for something that's close? Emilio said to match by eye, but I don't know what powder coated Moti uses and whether or not they have a beryllium wheel as reference

There is such thing as having too many options.

All the people i've worked with use these guys for powder.

I've used prismatic powders for my valve cover and other ancillary stuffs. I just can't find a Grey like the beryllium such that I'm confident in matching them in real life versus on an uncalibrated monitor and renderings of swatches in unknown lighting conditions.

I've only seen the Beryllium in photos, but I think that our Pearl Gunmetal Gray is nearly a dead match and should look spectacular together.. In fact, I just posted that the other day when Emilio posted the pic of the ND on Track HQ.
As a side bonus, because I love that powder coat color code so much, we've been finishing all of the fabricated parts for our products in the same color for years now, so that any parts that you buy in the future will also match
Our upcoming motor mounts (this week!), fire extinguisher kits, EP tow hook, the lot...

It's the third one on the left row -

From front to back - Chrome FX, Pearl Bronze,
Pearl Gunmetal Gray, Ultra high gloss Black

If by "few minutes" you mean ~2 hours, than yeah, sure...

I feel like the bar and wheels are far enough apart that if it isn't perfect you wont be able to tell.

Are those x10's?
