Default Greddy Flanges?

For the Greddy TD04H turbo.

Manifold-Turbo Flange is a T2 style.

What is the Turbo-Downpipe Flange Style?

It doesn't look like anything I've seen before, is it proprietary?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that flange is also on some Nissan turbochargers.

I'm thinking about making a custom tubular setup for the 1.8 I'm tearing down and dropping it a little lower so I can make a straighter true 3" downpipe.

They're completely unique. Mitsubishi did a custom turbine casting specifically for Greddy to use on the '90-'93 Miata.

Same turbo is used on the honda civic greddy set too.

Could be that the 3000gt twin turbo uses the same flange... Not certain..

You rebuilding the downpipe?

Still using the stock mani?

The downpipe is fun to build. My first downpipe took about 12 hours total time to build including welding/milling the flange so it sits flat. Just remember fluid mechanics

I dont know why i quoted you, ive had a few beers and at the time seemed logical.

Have you had any gains with that 19T wheel? Speaking from a mechanical standpoint bigger compressor means more cfm right? That would lead to more gains though. I remember saying you havent noticed any gains in some of your "problem" posts.

I am consdering the 19T upgrade

Well, my car was running like **** and MS pissing me off. Plus, I have the worlds most ridiculous spark table so it has no *****. In theory, the 19T has a about 50-60 more HP in it than the 15G.

What I'm trying to figure out is if I want to do though. I may just sell what I have and start over, or keep the 19T and remake a manifold to sit lower and make a straighter downpipe so I can go true 3".


Just kinda depends on what makes the most sense when I sit down and do the math on what it will take to make vs. buy new parts.

the manifold side is like a regular t25, like a nissan 300zx. the turbine side is like a mitsu, like a gt3000 vr4.
